Muti-effect distiller water machine is used to produce the WFI water in the pharmaceutical field.
Multi-effect distilled water machine usually consists of two or more evaporative heat exchangers, separation devices, preheaters, condensers, valves, instruments, and control components. Generally, the system has 3-6 effects, with each effect consisting of an evaporator, a separation device, and a preheater.
During the operation of a multi-effect distillation machine, the steam (pure steam) generated through each evaporator is used to heat the raw water, and in turn, more pure steam is generated in each effect. After heating and evaporating the raw water, it undergoes phase change condensation to become injection water. In the segmented evaporation and condensation process, only the first effect evaporator requires external heat source heating, and the pure steam generated by the final effect and the injection water generated by each effect are cooled through the condenser. Therefore, the energy saving effect is very obvious, and the more the efficiency, the better the energy-saving effect. That is to say, in order to reduce the consumption of steam and cooling water when the production of injection water is constant, it is necessary to increase the efficiency.
